Bengal College of Engineering & Technology one of the Best B.tech College in West Bengal has its own grand yet classical way to celebrate New Year. Like yester years students especially the first year students were waiting with bated breath to celebrate the going year and welcome the upcoming year. However we made sure to celebrate New Year in such a way that the celebration could remain in the hearts of students for several years to come. The celebration was based on the theme to bring smile on each and every face living by roadside or in backward areas living nearby one of the top AICTE approved Engineering College in West Bengal.
The morning of the last day of the year at one of the best Engineering colleges in West Bengal started with inviting little hearts in the college campus and distributing them chocolates, balloons and stationery items in search of charming smile on their faces. The smile on the faces was a moment worth to hold in heart for several years to come. To bring out the hidden talent taking shape inside these super energetic kids various competitions like sports, drawing , skit, dancing and singing to name few was organized. The whole day was energetic and full of fun for all the viewers and performers.
It has been rightly said that time flies when you have fun. The whole day passed in an enthusiastic manner. The evening was booked for old people living in old age homes. All the students visited with blankets and eating materials for the old people living away from home. We at one of the Best B.tech College in West Bengal made sure to equip all the esteemed old age people with necessary dry food items which could be even stored for weeks. Hands full of blessings and best wishes made everyone present there ,emotional but filled with joy.
