Admissions at one of the top Engineering colleges in Durgapur are rendered on merit through a Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEE) or CBSE Board Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main).

Eligibility Criteria

Pass in higher secondary examination (10+ 2) or equivalent with an aggregate of at least 45 percent marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics (40 percent for SC / ST candidates) with individual pass marks in each of those subjects and pass marks (30 percent) in English. Other criteria as per State Govt Notification.

Lateral Entry

Admissions in the 2nd year (Third Semester) level of the B.Tech Program at one of the best placement colleges in West Bengal by Lateral Entry for Diploma Holders are limited to a maximum of 20 percent of the approved intake in each discipline. Diploma holders must pass a Diploma Exam with at least 50 percent marks (45 percent for reserved category) and B.Sc. from an AICTE accredited institution. Holders of degree must pass the B.Sc. Degree from a recognized university with at least 50 percent marks as specified by UGC and pass XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.
