As per the studies, 1 out of every ten students is scared of ragging, making ragging one of the most troublesome issues students face.
Being the top B.Tech College in West Bengal, BCET believes that it’s our responsibility to inform students that we follow anti-ragging provisions at our college. Anti-ragging Provisions
We have an anti-ragging committee at our college, which is authorized to take instant actions against any untoward incident. Being one of the top 10 Engineering Colleges in West Bengal, we are imbibed to follow all rules and regulations to stop unwanted incidents such as ragging. As per the direction of India’s honourable Supreme Court and the Delhi Vide Order No. and SPL No. (Civil) 24295 & 24296-99, dated 10-12-2007, “if any student is found guilty for the act of raging, and their explanations in support of their actions are not satisfactory, then the colleges hold the right to expel the students from their college”.
Before getting admission to the top B.Tech College in West Bengal, students have to furnish an undertaking in this regard. To enhance familiarities and help fresher be comfortable with the campus’s seniors and social environment, we also organize different orientation sessions during the first week of the new academic calendar.
